Avengers Age of Ultron

Avengers Age of Ultron, the only way that I can describe myself during this film was fan boy.  Every little reference had me ooing and awing!  And the post credits scene! Oh my goodness!  I almost died!  For those of you reading this, you have been warned, there will be spoilers!  As some of you know, my favorite Marvel series of all time is the infinity gauntlet.  And in the end of this film, we finally get the Marvel seal of approval that this is the infinity war!  In the end credits of the movie, we see Thanos pick up an empty infinity gauntlet and say, "Fine, I'll do it myself."  This was by far my favorite scene of ANY of the marvel movies.  In the film we also get to know that the mind gem was loki's staff, and that the other three gems are the aether, the tesseract, and the orb.  Those of you wanting to get into this, go read the infinity gauntlet series, it is incredible!  I could go on all night about the little things in this that filled with me excitement, but for now I will leave you with the infinity gauntlet!  For all things comics, check in back here!

Death of Deadpool

Today Deadpool died! I laughed and I cried! I have loved him from New Mutants to Deadpool Corps to current age! He will always live on...and we'll see him in Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars!

Hey everyone, so I have gotten a little bit behind on my comics reading. So this week I will be reading SHIELD 1-3, Return of the Living Deadpool 1-3, Punisher 15-17, and Rocket Raccoon 9-10. I'll let you all know how each series is! By the way, you can see my awesome cookie jar in the back!

Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer 3

Oh my goodness you guys, the new trailer for this film is out and I literally can't calm down.  This movie is going to be intense!  We get a more in depth analysis of Ultron in this trailer as well as a little easter egg to Avengers 54, the first cameo of Ultron!  In the beginning of the trailer, we see Ultron seated covered in a red cape.  In the comic Ultron is covered by a red cape and is revealed to the Avengers this way.  He doesn't appear to be revealed to the Avengers in this way, but it is still a cool throwback to the Avenges 54.  In this trailer we see that Ultron was originally designed to be a bringer a peace to the world.  But he twists peace into something else entirely and interrupts that the only way to peace is to kill all humans.  In the trailer we get the sense that Tony Stark mistakingly created Ultron.  Although in the comics, Ultron was created by Henry Pym to be a robot servant with his own custom brain patterns.  Ultron eventually rebelled from him and plot the extermination of all humanity.  I am very interested to see how this will play out in the movie seeing as it appears that Tony Stark is the creator.  In the end of the trailer we get a very brief and close up shot of the Vision.  The Vision was originally created by Ultron by rebelled against him and changed to help the Avengers.   We also see in the trailer that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be helping Ultron on his second mission which is to break the Avengers.  Thanks for stopping by!  For everything Marvel and comic book related, keep it here at Ultra Comic Land!

Rocket Raccoon 8

In the newest installment of Rocket Raccoon, Rocket goes on a journey with Jink, an alien life form on a frozen planet, to find the eggs of a beast to cure Groot who was injured in the end of the previous issue.  During the course of this, we get a funny bit of Rocket talking about the food from Earth.  He says, "Pizza.  Now there's a thing of beauty. It's like all the stuff on this crust and then you eat it and then the angels sing and babies smil and puppies bark.  Thing of beauty."  The art in this issue is beautiful as well!  This issue left me very pleased and I can't wait to see what will be in Racket Raccoon 9!

Amazing Arizona Comic Con!

I got to meet Rob Liefeld and have him sign my New Mutants 87 and 98! First appearances of Cable and Deadpool!! Awesome convention and man! I will put up the list of the loot that I picked up once I get back home!
