Deadpool trailer and Shoutout

Possible location of the time stone

Hey guys! Sorry for not posting in a while, I've been real busy.  But anyway, I'm gonna get right down to it.  I am going to be telling you my prediction for where the time stone could be and how it will come into play in the MCU.  This could be way off, just a disclaimer, I am only speculating.  Anyway, the next Thor movie is Ragnarok.  Ragnarok is pretty much the destruction and rebirth of Asgard.  Now, in the first Thor film, we see an Infinity Gauntlet in the Odin's Treasure room.  Upon closer examination, I noticed that this gauntlet was for the right hand.  In the comics, and the end of age of ultron, Thanos has a gauntlet for the left hand.  I believe that the placement of this in the first movie was no accident.  In the new Infinity Gauntlet series, we see that there is a second infinity gauntlet.  Yes, it is made by the Nova Corps.  But being the protector of the nine realms, Asgard would have knowledge of the Nova Corps.  In the end of Thor 2, they even visit the Collector.  Could it be that Odin had the time stone (possibly also the Soul gem) and had the Nova Corps create this gauntlet for him.  As Asgard is the protector of the nine realms, it would make sense for Odin to want to attain the infinity stones to keep them out of the reaches of evil.  Now, if all this is true, Thor could harness this infinity gauntlet in Ragnarok.  He could do this to possibly see out how the destruction of Asgard will play out, or possibly use it to go back and possibly try to stop it from happening all together.  On another note, in the end of Thor 2, we see Loki on the thrown of Agard.  Maybe with this downfall of Asgard, Loki will use it to gain full power over Thor and Asgard.  Maybe he could attain that infinity gauntlet and swoop in and save the day.  That way he will appear to be hero in the eyes of the Asgardians.  Now I know, that was more than one prediction.  Please let me know what you think.  Thanks for listening!

Avengers Age of Ultron

Avengers Age of Ultron, the only way that I can describe myself during this film was fan boy.  Every little reference had me ooing and awing!  And the post credits scene! Oh my goodness!  I almost died!  For those of you reading this, you have been warned, there will be spoilers!  As some of you know, my favorite Marvel series of all time is the infinity gauntlet.  And in the end of this film, we finally get the Marvel seal of approval that this is the infinity war!  In the end credits of the movie, we see Thanos pick up an empty infinity gauntlet and say, "Fine, I'll do it myself."  This was by far my favorite scene of ANY of the marvel movies.  In the film we also get to know that the mind gem was loki's staff, and that the other three gems are the aether, the tesseract, and the orb.  Those of you wanting to get into this, go read the infinity gauntlet series, it is incredible!  I could go on all night about the little things in this that filled with me excitement, but for now I will leave you with the infinity gauntlet!  For all things comics, check in back here!

Today Deadpool died! I laughed and I cried! I have loved him from New Mutants to Deadpool Corps to current age! He will always live on...and we'll see him in Deadpool's Secret Secret Wars!

Hey everyone, so I have gotten a little bit behind on my comics reading. So this week I will be reading SHIELD 1-3, Return of the Living Deadpool 1-3, Punisher 15-17, and Rocket Raccoon 9-10. I'll let you all know how each series is! By the way, you can see my awesome cookie jar in the back!

Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer 3

Oh my goodness you guys, the new trailer for this film is out and I literally can't calm down.  This movie is going to be intense!  We get a more in depth analysis of Ultron in this trailer as well as a little easter egg to Avengers 54, the first cameo of Ultron!  In the beginning of the trailer, we see Ultron seated covered in a red cape.  In the comic Ultron is covered by a red cape and is revealed to the Avengers this way.  He doesn't appear to be revealed to the Avengers in this way, but it is still a cool throwback to the Avenges 54.  In this trailer we see that Ultron was originally designed to be a bringer a peace to the world.  But he twists peace into something else entirely and interrupts that the only way to peace is to kill all humans.  In the trailer we get the sense that Tony Stark mistakingly created Ultron.  Although in the comics, Ultron was created by Henry Pym to be a robot servant with his own custom brain patterns.  Ultron eventually rebelled from him and plot the extermination of all humanity.  I am very interested to see how this will play out in the movie seeing as it appears that Tony Stark is the creator.  In the end of the trailer we get a very brief and close up shot of the Vision.  The Vision was originally created by Ultron by rebelled against him and changed to help the Avengers.   We also see in the trailer that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be helping Ultron on his second mission which is to break the Avengers.  Thanks for stopping by!  For everything Marvel and comic book related, keep it here at Ultra Comic Land!

Rocket Raccoon 8

In the newest installment of Rocket Raccoon, Rocket goes on a journey with Jink, an alien life form on a frozen planet, to find the eggs of a beast to cure Groot who was injured in the end of the previous issue.  During the course of this, we get a funny bit of Rocket talking about the food from Earth.  He says, "Pizza.  Now there's a thing of beauty. It's like all the stuff on this crust and then you eat it and then the angels sing and babies smil and puppies bark.  Thing of beauty."  The art in this issue is beautiful as well!  This issue left me very pleased and I can't wait to see what will be in Racket Raccoon 9!

I got to meet Rob Liefeld and have him sign my New Mutants 87 and 98! First appearances of Cable and Deadpool!! Awesome convention and man! I will put up the list of the loot that I picked up once I get back home!

Fantastic Four

Today the trailer for the new Fantastic Four came out.  I didn't catch anything major on this trailer, so I will go ahead and tell of the origin story of the Fantastic Four.  Reed Richards and his college roommate Ben Grimm both wanted to travel to space.  Reed designed a ship to get them there but funding was cut and they had to use the prototype.  Along with them came Susan Storm and her younger brother Johnny Storm.  Very soon after takeoff, the ship was hit with cosmic radiation causing their bodies to mutate giving them amazing powers.  With their new powers, the Fantastic Four pledged to use them to safeguard Earth from human and supervillians.  I hope you found this interesting and keep it tuned here for all other comic book news!

Deadpool 40

It's new comic book Wednesday! So I am going to up my review of Deadpool 40!  This comic is hysterical!  The main story is that Roxxon a Gracking company, gamma fracking, is trying to monopolize the energy industry and is saying that its energy is the best kind.  The entire comic is illustrated in, you guessed it, crayon!  This makes for some funny and yet very interesting art. The ending is absolutely awesome and don't worry I won't spoil it for you.  Deadpool 40 is fantastic and I suggest you all check it out!  Tune in here on Friday for my review of S.H.I.E.L.D 2!

Avengers Age of Ultron Trailer 2

The new Avengers Age of Ultron trailer was released today and the tables have definitely turned in comparison to the the first Avengers film.  This trailer gives us a glimpse that Ultron looks to be a huge force in the split of the Avengers and the creation of Civil War.  We see in the trailer Hulk kick a police vehicle and hurt many individuals in the process.  We also get an extended look at the battle between Hulk and Iron Man which I predict will be towards the end of the film to open the story for Captain America Civil War.  One interesting thing we see in this trailer is Ulysses Klaw.  The bearded man possibly being played by Andy Serkis.  If this is Ulysses Klaw, we can only hope to possibly get a look at Black Panther in this film as Ulysses was a major villain to the Black Panther.  But remember, I am only speculating and hoping with a watchful eye.  Stay tuned for everything else Marvel!
